A 'Thank You' to our donors

This post was written by Letty Johnson, CitiHope's director of Donor Relations.

In this time of uncertainty, with the near-constant news updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, we have all had to make changes to the way we live our daily lives. I am so fortunate to be part of CitiHope’s team and grateful that we have had the ability to work remotely for several years now. Paul Moore II, CitiHope's CEO, put in place an effective system so, at least for this aspect of life, I’m not in the position of having to navigate something new. My husband and I have been staying at home, working and following all of the guidelines and updates. We are so glad we can stay in close touch with family and colleagues through the blessing of the communication technology age we live in. One of the things on my heart has been how much we wish to convey to you, our valued donors, our deep appreciation for what you have done by supporting our humanitarian relief programs around the world. We recently sent a shipment to Dominican Republic which will provide medicine for the most vulnerable who suffer from chronic diseases. These patients are among the group most at-risk should they be diagnosed with COVID-19 so we are extremely grateful to be able to provide this assistance. My purpose in writing is simply to thank you for your compassion and provision. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. For many of you among the group designated “essential services”, we wanted to take a moment to say, “Thank you – well done, and stay well!”
