    CitiHope has established a solid relationship with the Malawi Ministry of Health, delivering over $32.8 million in medicine and food relief to date, and reaching over 259,000 people with medical and nutritional support.

    CitiHope, partnering with The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation, is poised to procure, deliver, and distribute $3-5 million in essential pharmaceuticals to Malawi in 2016-2017.

    Since 2003, CitiHope has implemented six IFRP grants in northern Malawi, reaching over 100,000 malnourished children, women, men, and the elderly with supplemental food.

    CitiHope’s USAID Food for Peace IFRP Program provided over 600 metric tons of food to Northern Malawians dealing with severe famine.

In partnership with WorldHope Corps and HopeGivers International, CitiHope has drilled four boreholes in rural areas to provide safe potable water to for drinking and cooking in vulnerable communities.

In addition to providing medical relief, CitiHope has spent significant effort targeting nutritional needs in Malawi.

Securing and implementing six IFRP (International Food Relief Partnership) grants helped feed over 100,000 Malawians faced with food insecurity from severe famine. Partnerships with other organizations have yielded fresh drinking water, and HIV/AIDS education and de-stigmatization, culminating in the development of a theologically-based curriculum addressing issues pertaining to HIV/AIDS in churches.
